I resumed my artistic career after I retired in 2015.  I became a colored pencil addict after taking a workshop. That led to a weekly class at the Dunedin Fine Art Center.

The magic of colored pencils is that you can make your work look like a watercolor or an oil depending on the brand and the paper or other ground you use. I love the details I was not able to get when I used pastels or oils.

I am inspired by the flowers I grow or the items I collect.  I joined the Colored Pencil Society of America, took workshops and attended retreats to hone my craft.
